The charitable event was organized by Julian Stevens, a scouted prospect from Amity High School by Kelly. He currently plays baseball at the University of Missouri.

Every August, the Summer Rivalry Classic game is played between the Yankee and Red Sox Northeast scout teams made up of New England’s top college and high school prospects along with a few select players from various states.
