About the Author

Janis Monte is a proud wife, mother, and teacher who enjoys reading, writing, sports, music, and spending time with her family. Janis loves baseball and softball as she played them both in her youth as well as visited 26 Major League Baseball stadiums in the United States with her husband and daughter. She is also a middle school Language Arts teacher in Connecticut. The Greatest Rescue is her first published children’s book.
